Mr Santdeep Paun is a Consultant Nasal and Facial Plastic Surgeon and former Head of Department at St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London
Hospitals. He is also the Medical Director of Symmetry Clinic, a private practice in London’s well known Harley Street.
Mr Paun trained in London, UK. He was awarded a Fellowship of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS) and spent time in
Amsterdam, Toronto and Boston working with leading international surgeons learning various aspects of reconstructive and aesthetic facial plastic procedures.
He has an active interest in teaching annd education and is the Inaugural and previous President of the European Board for Certification in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and is the current President of the International Board. He also serves on the Fellowship committee of the International Federation in Facial Plastic Surgical Societies (IFFPSS).
Spending much of his time performing rhinoplasty and aspects of facial plastic surgery, Mr Paun is also part of the London craniofacial trauma team, a unique multidisciplinary service dedicated to aesthetic reconstruction following severe facial trauma. He has a national and international reputation in complex rhinoplasty surgery and regularly lectures on all aspects of his work. He
co-runs a yearly Rhinoplasty dissection course and a separate rhinoplasty meeting in London. He has written numerous book chapters and peer-reviewed papers on his various clinical interests.
Michael Platt MD, MSc is Vice Chair of Education and an Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedesian School of Medicine. He is a fellowship-trained Rhinologist who serves as Director of Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery and Residency Program Director. Dr. Platt attended the University of Scranton and Jefferson Medical College before pursuing Otolaryngology training at Albany Medical Center, Rhinology Fellowship at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, and a Masters in Clinical Bioinformatics from Boston University. His research interests include surgical simulation, understanding inflammatory sinonasal diseases, and patient safety education.
